Bio

Hi, I'm Alex Sharp :-)

I've served as Lead Developer for OptimisDev since October 2009. Prior to joining OptimisDev, I co-founded Second Street Creative in 2006, a boutique web application development and design consultancy specializing in creative brand development and agile ruby application development. I am particularly interested in the NoSQL movement and mastering the art of refactoring.

In addition to other open source contributions, I am the author of Bunyan and Papermill, two libraries for working with MongoDB.

In addition to hacking, I enjoy shredding fresh powder (snowboarding), gourmet coffee and being an amateur foodie. I currently live in sunny Los Angeles, CA, blog at alexjsharp.com and tweet as @ajsharp.
